Suarez is a familiar face to public television viewers, having joined The NewsHour in 1999. He is the former host of the popular NPR program, “Talk of the Nation.” A veteran journalist who has worked for CNN, ABC Radio, CBS Radio and WMAQ-TV in Chicago, Suarez is also an accomplished author. He’ll discuss the mid-term election results, and issues of the day during this special Saturday afternoon appearance. He is a life member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
